Industrial Ethernet Switches
Plug-and-play gigabit switch for the cabinet: no configuration, dual redundant power inputs and a wide temperature range. Mount it on the DIN rail, wire it up, and it runs.
Supply under your own brand, from 1 unit. Printed label samples the same day. See OEM & private label options →
Overview
The LBTD016G is an unmanaged switch for cabinets that have to run without an engineer on site. There is nothing to configure: every port negotiates speed and duplex on its own and supports MDI/MDI-X, so straight or crossover cables both work. Power it up on the DIN rail and all sixteen ports forward at wire speed.
The parts that fail in the field are the parts we engineered hardest. Two independent power inputs run in redundancy — if one feed drops, the other carries the load without a reboot. The power input withstands a 5000 A (8/20 μs) lightning surge, and the metal IP40 housing dissipates heat without a fan, so there is no air filter to service and no moving part to seize up.
From DC 12 V truck supply to 52 V plant supply, the wide input range covers whatever the cabinet already has — and the −40 °C to +80 °C range means the same unit works in an outdoor enclosure in winter and a closed panel in summer. Store-and-forward switching with an 8K MAC table and 56 Gbps capacity keeps traffic clean on every port.
True plug-and-play: auto-negotiation and MDI/MDI-X on every port. No console, no web page, no IT involvement at the site.
Dual redundant DC inputs on pluggable terminals, with overcurrent and reverse-polarity protection built in.
IP40 metal housing on a DIN-35 rail or the wall, fanless cooling, −40 to +80 °C, MTBF 300,000 h.
Printed label samples the same day, from one unit. Colour labels, silk printing and retail packaging at volume.
Specifications
Three groups, same order on every switch page: ports and switching first, power and protection second, mechanical and environmental third.

PoE option
PoE is a build option across this switch family: the same housing with a PoE module fitted becomes a separate P-suffix model. The 16-port LBTD016G is listed without PoE — if your project needs PoE at sixteen ports, tell us the port count and per-port power and we will confirm the configuration with you.
Every PoE model in this family supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at simultaneously — there is no separate "af-only" version. Camera, radio or sensor, the port negotiates up to 30 W.
LBTD05GP PoE version of LBTD05G5 × 10/100/1000 Mbps, DIN rail, same wide-range dual power inputs. Ports 1–5 deliver PoE/PoE+ for cameras and radios. Open LBTD05GP →
LBTD08GP PoE version of LBTD08G8 × 10/100/1000 Mbps, DIN rail, same wide-range dual power inputs. Ports 1–8 deliver PoE/PoE+ for cameras and radios. Open LBTD08GP →
Port standard ≠ whole-unit budget. 802.3at is what each port can negotiate (up to 30 W). The total power budget depends on the model and its PoE power module — the budget figure for your configuration is confirmed with the quotation, so you can size the power supply before you order.
Family & ordering
The model name is the order code — there is nothing to assemble. Read the segments below to decode any model in the family, and pick the one that matches your port count and power plan.

Options & accessories
Power is not part of the standard scope on the DC-fed DIN series. Most cabinets already have a rail and a spare outlet, and sourcing a power supply locally is usually cheaper than shipping one. Where you do want us to supply it, pick the output below and the adapter travels in the same carton as the switch.
Optional DC power adapter — not part of the standard scope. Choose the output your panel runs on.
Phoenix-type output to suit the switch terminal, ordered alongside the unit. Tell us the rail your panel already supplies and we confirm the matching adapter with the quote. Adapters quoted by part number today: LBT5122-DC, LBT5241-DC and LBT5481-DC — the full range above is available on request.
Applications
Typical uses reported by distributors and system integrators working with this model.
Sixteen wired drops in one panel — PLCs, meters, panel PCs and the uplink router, all on one unmanaged fabric.
Port-per-station wiring along the line; auto MDI/MDI-X means any cable from any crate works.
−40 °C start-up in winter, sealed IP40 housing, no fan to service on a pole or in a tunnel cabinet.
Dual redundant power feeds from the DC panel, with 5000 A surge headroom on the input.
Wet-well and pump-station panels where the switch must run unattended for years — 5-year warranty included.
One switch across the whole machine range; private label from one unit puts your brand on the housing.
