Overview

Your product gets 5G without a connectivity project

The M400-E is a complete router on a board: 5G Sub-6 cellular engine, routing firmware in flash, two gigabit Ethernet ports, dual serial and the antenna connectors, all assembled and tested. An equipment maker who needs the machine online adds a 74 × 42 mm board instead of starting a modem integration from a chipset datasheet.

The format is board-to-board. Your host board supplies the DC 12 V rail and talks to the module over Ethernet and serial; the cellular and antenna side is already handled, including the four IPEX-4 connectors and the RF layout. That is the part of a modem design that most often needs a second iteration, and it is the part you do not have to do.

Configuration, branding and final inspection stay with our own team. Firmware default settings, boot behaviour and enclosure labelling can be set for your product line, and private label runs from a single unit — so the first prototype can already carry your brand.

Router, not a modem

Full routing firmware on board — NAT, VPN, DHCP and the web interface come with the module.

Two gigabit ports on board

Your host board gets a routed gigabit interface without adding a switch or a second PHY design.

Dual serial for the controller

RS-232 and RS-485 on the same module, so the equipment controller and the telemetry path share one board.

Branded on the first prototype

Private label from 1 unit, with firmware default settings configured for your product line.

Integration support

What we hand over with the first board

A module sale is an engineering relationship. These three things come with every integration, not as an extra charge.

Reference design under NDA

Pin-out, power sequencing, antenna placement notes and the host-board example we use ourselves.

Direct engineering contact

Your integration questions go to the module team — the same engineers who set the firmware defaults.

Firmware defaults for your product

Boot behaviour, APN defaults, interface naming and label strings set for your product line before shipment.

Applications

Integration cases

Products our distributors and OEM customers have built around this module family.

Cloud broadcast terminals

A 5G module inside a public-address and audio terminal, forwarding stream and status over the cellular link.

Unmanned aerial platforms

5G module on a UAV payload board, giving the ground station a routed link instead of a raw modem.

Industrial gateways and DTU

The module as the cellular core of a customer-branded gateway, with their own application board on top.

Self-service and vending machines

Payment and telemetry traffic over 5G, integrated into the machine controller board.

Video and edge appliances

Gigabit Ethernet from the module straight into the appliance, no additional PHY on the host board.

OEM product lines

One module across a product range, with firmware defaults and labels matched per model.
