For sites nobody is standing next to

Charging banks, pumping stations, reservoirs and plant yards share one characteristic: there is no operator on site. If the link drops, the first sign is a customer complaint or a missed alarm. The network has to be the most reliable part of the installation, because everything else depends on it.

What this environment asks of the network

1

Nobody is there to press reset

Faults have to be detected and reported, and ideally recovered by a remote reboot rather than a visit.

2

Outdoor enclosures, wide swings

Charging banks and water sites sit in full sun and in frost. Temperature grade and surge tolerance decide service life.

3

Many devices, one uplink

A charging site has several piles, a controller and often cameras — all sharing one cellular connection through a switch.

4

Harsh electrical environment

Switching loads and long cable runs make for noisy power. Wide input range and proper isolation are prerequisites.

A typical deployment

Site equipment Charge controllers, pumps and level sensors, meters, cameras, plant skids.
→
LINBLENET device An outdoor 4G/5G router as the site uplink, a managed switch for the devices behind it — or a cellular module on the controller board itself.
→
Operations platform Charging management, SCADA, asset monitoring, video — with fault alerting.

Hardware we usually ship into this

From deployments like yours

EV charging

Charging site network backbone

Charging sites need the piles, the controller and the payment terminal on one managed network, with a single uplink back to the operator.

Used: industrial switches providing the link layer — easy to install, stable, low latency, good value per site.

Light electric vehicles

E-bike charging banks with remote monitoring

Large numbers of small sites, each with low data volume but a hard requirement to be reachable — the economics only work if the hardware is cheap and the platform sees everything.

Used: 4G/5G routers providing connectivity, with central platform management to keep operating cost down.

Water

Reservoir and waterworks monitoring

Level, flow and gate data from remote structures, with early warning when readings cross thresholds. Sites are often far from any network.

Used: 4G/5G industrial routers for connectivity and data transport — stable, remote-managed, with early-warning support.

Heavy industry

Plant video and environmental data backhaul

Large outdoor sites where video and environmental readings have to reach a central operations room, and where manual observation is being removed.

Used: outdoor 5G routers — 5G connectivity, high and stable throughput, remote control, anti-disconnect watchdog, intelligent alerting.

Customer names are withheld. Where sites were delivered through an integrator we describe the application, not the end client.

What to send us so we can quote

✓How many sites, and how many devices behind each uplink?
✓4G or 5G, and which country — bands decide the modem.
✓Is the site outdoor? Expected ambient range and enclosure rating.
✓Supply available: AC, DC rail, or solar with battery?
✓Do you build the controller yourself? If yes, ask about the module option.
✓Fault handling: who needs the alert, and over what channel?

Tell us how many sites must stay reachable

Energy projects are won on reliability per site. Send the site count and the device list and we will come back with a configuration, a delivery date and the datasheets.
